reading

What we believe a book to be reshapes itself with every reading. Over the years my experiences, my tastes, my prejudices have changed: as the days go by, my memory keeps re-shelving, cataloguing, discarding the volumes in my library; my words and my world - except for a few constant landmarks - are never one and the same -

Un comentariu:

  1. doamne, dar cum le gasesti?:) atata putere de idei si de exprimare, concentrata in cateva randuri, si cum frazele se transforma in ceva ce nu te astepti ...ceea ce acum m-a intors cu fata in alta parte este acea "my words and my world...are never one and the same". si "the constant landmark" ar putea fi,acum, kafka,nu, care pare sa scrijeleasca cu fiecare recitire, inca o adancime in piatra.si cat de putine carti raman pe rafturi,nu,si cat de putin timp avem sa aflam cum oameni din noi ,care au citit acele volume,au disparut....
